Super talented Flowers of Borough Green florist in Kent is enjoying a well deserved 15 minutes (and hopefully more!) of fame following their appointment as a member of the Good Florist Guide.
They appeared in the Sevenoaks Chronicle after being accepted into the merit-based, independently accredited guide to the UK’s best florists.
The paper reported: “The so-called ‘little black-book’ of British and Irish florists awarded the prestigious accolade to the shop last week and its owner, Fiona Wakefield, said she was thrilled to be recognised.
“‘We are delighted to be accepted into the Good Florist Guide. We are passionate about flowers, design, quality and the service we give to each of our customers, so it is wonderful to have this recognised. And what’s special about our business is we all love what we do and we care– I have a great team of dedicated florists who are experts in our field.’”
Julie Dean from Flowers and Things in Burnham on Sea was proud to be featured as a Good Florist Guide member in their local paper: Burnham and Highbridge Weekly News.
But florists aren’t just hitting the headlines, they’re also spreading to the screen as Rosa’s Flowers in Witney has done picking up coverage on their local TV channel That’s Oxfordshire. Check it out below.
And they’re not the only ones, since it’s launch Good Florist Guide has been flooded with applications, over 150 members have been confirmed already. The lovely folks at Loch Duich Plants got loads of attention when they posted to Facebook: “Just had confirmation we have been accepted into the Good Florist Guide 2016/17, totally over the moon. Thank you to all our customers for your continued support.”
Whereas florist Anne Whysall had a great reaction online posting her Good Florist Guide Certificate receiving 160 likes over just a few days.
