Blue has been established for almost 15 years, and is a small department store based in a 3 storey period building in Market Place, in the old market town of Shifnal in Shropshire.

Jan Park, the owner and creator of Blue had a clear vision of what she wanted to create for this retail experience. Following a career in Art and Design, Jan wanted to create a memorable shopping experience, offering customers ethically and well designed products in a welcoming environment with excellent and friendly customer service.

Following her career as an Artist/Designer and University Lecturer in Art School, Jan created a comfortable, stylish store at Blue.

Jan travels extensively to source well designed products for all of the departments at Blue, buying from small artists and designers, British manufacturers and Fair Trade suppliers as much as possible.
